French guitarist Edith Pageaud began playing guitar at age seven and was winning national competitions within a year. She entered the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris, studying with Gérard Abiton, and earned her Diplôme d’Études Musicales in classical guitar at age fourteen; she also studied with Gérard Verba before spending several years studying humanities and philosophy. She is currently a student of Atanas Ourkouzounov and teaches classical guitar at the Conservatoire, alongside work as an arranger transcribing piano works by Rachmaninov, Scriabin and Brahms for guitar.

Pageaud has won first prize at the Drôme de Guitares Competition (2022), the Roland Dyens International Competition (2023, earning the title “Révélation Guitare Classique Magazine”), the Florence International Guitar Competition Alvaro Company in Italy, and the Rust International Competition “Alirio Diaz” in Austria, establishing her as one of the notable young voices in the French classical guitar scene.
