Vera Danilina is a Russian classical guitarist born in 1999 in Penza, Russia. She began studying guitar at age five with Olga Odrina in Penza, and at sixteen entered the class of Professor Vladimir Mityakov, continuing her studies at the Glinka Conservatory in Nizhny Novgorod. In October 2023 she joined Jérémy Jouve’s class at the Regional Conservatory of Paris, and has been based in Europe touring since.

Danilina has won a string of international competitions, including First Prize at the Michele Pittaluga International Guitar Competition in Alessandria, Italy (2022), First Prize at the 30th International Guitar Competition Iserlohn, Germany (2022), and First Prizes at the Florida Guitar Foundation Competition (USA, 2021) and the ALTAMIRA competition (The Hague, 2021). Her debut album was released on the Contrastes Records label in July 2023 to critical acclaim.
