Biography (read more)

Guillaume Bellom (born 28 June 1992 in Besançon, France) is a French pianist. He trained on both violin and piano in his hometown before continuing at the Conservatoire de Paris, where mentors including Nicholas Angelich and Hortense Cartier-Bresson encouraged him to focus fully on piano. He came to international attention as a finalist and prizewinner at the 2015 Clara Haskil Competition, and that same year won first prize at the International Épinal Competition.

Bellom performs widely as both soloist and chamber musician at festivals including La Roque d’Anthéron and the Festival de Pâques in Aix-en-Provence, and has recorded four-hand piano repertoire by Schubert and Mozart with pianist Ismaël Margain for Aparté. He is regarded as one of the more versatile and thoughtful pianists of the current generation of French musicians.
