Antje Weithaas is a German violinist born in 1966 who studied at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin. She won the Kreisler Competition in Graz (1987), the International J.S. Bach Competition in Leipzig (1988), and the International Joseph Joachim Violin Competition in Hannover (1991).
Weithaas has performed with major orchestras across Europe, Asia, and the United States and recorded extensively for Harmonia Mundi and CAvi-Music, covering repertoire from Bach to Bartók, Dutilleux, and Debussy. A respected pedagogue, she has taught at the Berlin University of the Arts, the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler, and Kronberg Academy, and became artistic director of the International Joseph Joachim Violin Competition in 2019.
