Sabine Devieilhe (born 12 December 1985 in Ifs, near Caen, France) is a French coloratura soprano. She began as a cellist before turning to voice, studying at the Caen and Rennes conservatories and then at the Conservatoire de Paris under Pierre Mervant and Elène Golgevit, graduating with first prize and the jury’s congratulations in 2011. She made her professional debut later that year as Amina in Bellini’s La sonnambula with the Atelier Lyrique de Tourcoing, and rose to international attention with her role debut as the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s The Magic Flute (2013) and the title role in Delibes’s Lakmé at the Opéra-Comique (2014). She signed an exclusive recording contract with Erato in 2013 and has since debuted at the Royal Opera House, the Paris Opera, and Carnegie Hall.

Often described as a successor to Natalie Dessay, Devieilhe is celebrated for combining pinpoint coloratura technique with interpretive depth across Mozart, French opera, and Baroque repertoire by Rameau and Handel; in recognition of her artistry, the asteroid 33346 Sabinedevieilhe was named in her honor.
