Marina Tomei is an Italian classical guitarist who began studying with Maestro Bruno Battisti D’Amario (Ennio Morricone’s longtime guitarist). She continued her studies in Florence at the “Luigi Cherubini” Music Conservatory with Maestro Francesco Cuoghi, and completed her Bachelor’s degree in guitar under Maestro Arturo Tallini at the “Santa Cecilia” Music Conservatory in Rome. She was also selected to study at the Aspen Music Festival and School under Sharon Isbin and at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena under Oscar Ghiglia.

Tomei performs left-handed, a notable rarity among classical guitarists, playing on a custom left-handed instrument by luthier Duke.
