Jouyan Tarzaban is a German-Iranian guitarist, singer-songwriter, and sound engineer whose music draws on both the European classical tradition and the Persian melodic heritage of his family. He studied classical guitar at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold, one of Germany’s leading conservatories, and was formerly a singer/guitarist with the band The Truemen.

Tarzaban is particularly known for arrangements bringing Persian melodies onto the classical guitar. Alongside his performing career he works as a sound engineer and video producer for Siccas Guitars, helping document the playing of many other guitarists for the platform.
