Goran Krivokapić is a Montenegrin classical guitarist known for his technical virtuosity and his interpretations of both historical and contemporary repertoire. He won his first international competition at age fourteen and went on to win eighteen more, including the Michele Pittaluga (Alessandria, 2000), the Andrés Segovia (La Herradura, 2000), the Koblenz International Guitar Competition (2003), the Guitar Foundation of America competition (Montreal, 2004) and the Dr. Luis Sigall International Competition (Viña del Mar, 2004). He has performed at venues including the Concertgebouw, Tchaikovsky Hall and the Lobkowitz Palace, and appears as a soloist with orchestras across Europe, the Americas, Asia and Africa. He also performs as part of the Montenegrin Guitar Duo with Danijel Cerović.

With nearly twenty international competition prizes and an extensive international performing and teaching career (including masterclasses at institutions such as Indiana University and the University of Toronto), Krivokapić is established as one of Montenegro’s leading classical guitarists.
