David Dyakov

David Dyakov is a Bulgarian classical guitarist with a career spanning more than 24 years. He has won over 25 first prizes in international competitions, including the Koblenz International Guitar Competition, Forum Gitarre Wien, and the Daejeon International Guitar Competition. He was named Musician of the Year by Bulgaria’s Classic FM Radio.

Dyakov has given more than 500 solo concerts across Europe and Asia and has appeared as soloist with orchestras including the Sofia Philharmonic, the Athens Symphony Orchestra, and the Czech Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra. He is founding chairman of the Cologne Guitar Society and is also active as an arranger of Baroque, Classical, and Romantic repertoire for guitar.
