Daniel Lozakovich (born April 1, 2001) is a Swedish violinist who began playing at age six and made his concert debut at nine under conductor Vladimir Spivakov in Moscow. He studied at the Karlsruhe University of Music with Josef Rissin and has been mentored by Eduard Wulfson in Geneva since 2015. In 2016 he won the Vladimir Spivakov International Violin Competition and, at age 15, signed an exclusive contract with Deutsche Grammophon, becoming the label’s youngest artist at the time. He has since performed for state occasions, including a 2023 Palace of Versailles dinner and the 2024 reopening ceremony of Notre-Dame de Paris under conductor Gustavo Dudamel.

Lozakovich is one of classical music’s most prominent young prodigies, having built a major recording and touring career while still in his early twenties, with his Tchaikovsky recording named a Gramophone ‘Top Choice.’
