Aros Guitar Duo is a Danish guitar duo formed in 2009 by Mikkel Egelund Nielsen and Simon Wildau, who met while studying at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus. Both later completed postgraduate diplomas there, with Nielsen earning a master’s degree in Cologne and Wildau one in Barcelona.

The duo has won first prizes at the Omiš Guitar Fest (Croatia), the Fiuggi International Guitar Festival (Italy), and the Liechtensteiner Gitarrentage (2018), among other awards, and in 2024 released the album “In Time,” featuring six new works commissioned between 2018 and 2021 that each incorporate a theme from Morten Børup’s “In vernalis temporis.”
