Roy Kim (born Kim Sang-woo, 1993) is a South Korean singer-songwriter who rose to fame after winning the fourth season of Mnet’s talent competition “Superstar K” in 2012. His 2013 debut album “Love Love Love” produced the hit single “Bom Bom Bom,” and he has since released albums including “Home” (2014) and “The Great Dipper” (2015), known for blending acoustic folk with pop balladry.

Roy Kim helped popularize the singer-songwriter acoustic-folk style within Korean pop music and has contributed hit soundtrack songs to popular Korean dramas, extending his cultural influence beyond the music charts.
