Niklas Strömstedt (born July 25, 1958, in Lund, Sweden) is a Swedish singer, songwriter, and actor whose career began in the late 1960s. He played keyboards for Ulf Lundell in the late 1970s and 1980s and co-founded the group GES with Orup and Anders Glenmark in 1994. His solo breakthrough came with the number-one hit “Om” (1990), and he wrote “I morgon är en annan dag,” winner of Melodifestivalen 1992, as well as Swedish-language lyrics for the musical Mamma Mia!.

Strömstedt is regarded as a respected and durable figure in Swedish popular music, with a five-decade career spanning performing, songwriting, and television.
