Natalia Lipnitskaya is a classical guitarist, pedagogue and recording artist born in Belarus, where she began guitar at age nine and earned a Teacher’s Diploma with highest honors at the Mikhail Glinka State Musical College in Minsk under Vladimir Belyshev. She went on to earn an Artist Diploma with highest honors from the Belorussian National Academy of Music under Evgeny Gridiushko, then completed Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Vienna’s University of Music and Performing Arts with Alvaro Pierri, and studied with Olivier Chassain at the Paris Conservatoire under the ERASMUS program.

Lipnitskaya has won First Prize at the International Guitar Competition in Savona, the Antonio Aparicio International Guitar Competition in Alicante, the International Guitar Competition in Kutná Hora and the John Duarte International Guitar Competition in Rust. She has recorded a solo album of Bach transcriptions on Music Inside Records, was profiled in a national Belarusian television documentary, and now teaches in the preparatory program of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where she is based.
