Mandy Moore, born Amanda Leigh Moore on April 10, 1984, in Nashua, New Hampshire, is an American singer-songwriter and actress who emerged as a teen pop star in 1999 with “Candy” before moving into more mature singer-songwriter albums such as “Wild Hope” (2007) and “Silver Landings” (2020). As an actress she starred in “A Walk to Remember” (2002), voiced Rapunzel in Disney’s “Tangled” (2010), and played Rebecca Pearson in NBC’s “This Is Us” (2016–2022), earning Golden Globe and Emmy nominations.

Moore successfully transitioned from late-1990s teen-pop stardom into a respected dual career in music and prestige television, receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2019.
