Kathrin Zukowski is a German lyric soprano who initially studied instrumental pedagogy (guitar) before training in voice at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold and the Theaterakademie August Everding in Munich under Prof. Lars Woldt. She began her professional career in the 2020/21 season as an ensemble member of Oper Köln, where she sang leading roles including Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro), and Lucia (Lucia di Lammermoor).

Zukowski has appeared at major houses including the Wiener Staatsoper, Staatsoper Berlin, and the Salzburg Festival, and has since become a permanent ensemble member at Oper Zürich. She won the ‘Best Singer’ special prize at the International Opera Competition ‘Giangiacomo Guelfi’ and has received Hasse Society scholarships; her recording project ‘The Wagner Project’ with KammerMusikKöln for Challenge Records highlights her interpretations of German repertoire including the Wesendonck Lieder.
