Joan Osborne (born 1962) is an American singer-songwriter working across rock, pop, soul, blues, and country. After moving to New York to study filmmaking, she became immersed in the city’s live music scene and broke through with her 1995 debut album Relish, featuring the hit “One of Us” (written by Eric Bazilian).

“One of Us” became a defining 1990s pop-rock anthem and earned Osborne multiple Grammy nominations; she has since built a respected career as a genre-crossing artist, collaborator, and producer.
