Ingeborg Schöpf is an Austrian soprano, born around 1967/68, who initially trained as a chemical laboratory technician while studying voice privately with Elsa Marx. She attended masterclasses, including one at the Mozarteum in Salzburg in 1989 with Kerstin Meyer and Wilma Lipp, and has been a member of the soloist ensemble of the Staatsoperette Dresden since 1998.

Schöpf is best known within the German operetta circuit, particularly for her long association with the Staatsoperette Dresden, and she stepped in at short notice to perform in a 2012 ZDF New Year’s concert at the Semperoper under Christian Thielemann. From 2005 to 2008 she was the featured soprano for the Cantus Buranus projects with the ensemble Corvus Corax, and she has appeared at the Seefestspiele Mörbisch. Her profile is largely regional (German/Austrian operetta and light-classical stages) rather than international.
