Im Chang-jung is a South Korean singer and actor, born November 30, 1973, who began his entertainment career as an actor in 1990 before debuting as a singer in 1995. He has released 17 full-length albums and is known for emotionally demanding ballad performances.

He is noted as the only South Korean artist to have had number-one hits on domestic charts across three separate decades (1990s, 2000s, and 2010s), and received a Singer of the Year honor from Gallup Korea in 2016.
