Guns N’ Roses is an American hard rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1985, best known for its classic lineup featuring Axl Rose (vocals), Slash (lead guitar), and Duff McKagan (bass). Their debut album “Appetite for Destruction” (1987) became the best-selling debut album in U.S. history, spawning hits like “Welcome to the Jungle” and “Sweet Child o’ Mine,” and was followed by the twin “Use Your Illusion I & II” albums (1991).

With over 100 million records sold worldwide, Guns N’ Roses reshaped late-1980s rock by fusing punk, blues, and metal, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012.
