Duo Françaix is a classical guitar duo formed by Isabella Selder, from Germany, and Eliška Lenhartová, from the Czech Republic, who met while studying guitar together at the Academy of Music Franz Liszt in Weimar, Germany. Both later became master’s candidates at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria, and each performs as a soloist and teaches guitar in the Augsburg/Munich area of Germany in addition to their duo work. The duo takes its name from French composer Jean Françaix (1912–1997), who wrote a 1982 work for guitar duo, Divertissement, which is part of their repertoire.

Both members have individually won guitar competitions, and as a duo they have been featured by Siccas Guitars and highlighted by Classical Guitar magazine as a “Video Pick of the Week” for their performance of Granados’s “Oriental.”
