Creed is an American post-grunge/hard rock band formed in Tallahassee, Florida in 1994, led by vocalist Scott Stapp and guitarist Mark Tremonti, with Scott Phillips on drums and Brian Marshall on bass. The band achieved massive commercial success in the late 1990s and early 2000s with multi-platinum albums including ‘Human Clay’ (1999), which produced the Grammy-winning single ‘With Arms Wide Open.’ They disbanded in 2004, reunited from 2009–2012, and reformed again in 2023.

Creed became one of the best-selling acts of the 2000s, selling over 53 million albums worldwide, and are regarded as one of the defining bands of the post-grunge movement.
