Big Bang (stylized BigBang) is a South Korean boy band formed by YG Entertainment, debuting on August 19, 2006, and currently comprising G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung. Known for hip-hop, pop rap, R&B, and EDM-influenced music with heavy member involvement in songwriting and production, the group scored a record eleven number-one singles on South Korea’s Gaon Digital Chart.

Dubbed the “Kings of K-pop,” Big Bang are credited with pioneering self-produced idol music and helping spread the Korean Wave internationally, selling over 140 million records worldwide.
