Arsenii Moon is a Russian pianist born in 1999 in St Petersburg who began piano at six with Elena Zyabreva and made his orchestral debut with the St Petersburg Philharmonia at age ten. He studied with Alexander Sandler at the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory from 2010 to 2017 before completing his studies at the Juilliard School under Sergei Babayan in 2024.

Moon won the top prize at the 64th Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition along with the Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli Prize, awarded only by unanimous jury decision and not given for nearly three decades, plus the competition’s Audience Prize. He has since performed at venues including the Elbphilharmonie, Vienna’s Konzerthaus and Musikverein, and the Gewandhaus Leipzig, and was featured in Deutsche Grammophon’s 125th-anniversary ‘Rising Stars’ celebrations alongside artists such as Daniel Barenboim and Hélène Grimaud.
