Audrey Vigoureux is a French pianist born 24 January 1981 in Aix-en-Provence. She began piano studies at the Conservatoire Darius Milhaud there at age eight and, after graduating at fifteen, was accepted at both the Paris Conservatoire and the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève, commuting between the two to study with Jacques Rouvier in Paris and Sébastien Risler in Geneva. She graduated from both institutions in 2004 and went on to take master classes with Joseph Kalichstein, Charles Rosen, Bella Davidovich, and András Schiff.

Based mainly in Switzerland, Vigoureux teaches at the Haute École de Musique in Geneva, performs internationally, and has founded her own festival for cross-genre collaborations. In 2018 she joined her former teacher Jacques Rouvier and fellow students David Fray and Emmanuel Christien for a recording of Bach’s Concerto for Four Pianos, BWV 1065, among other multi-keyboard concertos.
