Ksenija Sidorova was born May 18, 1988, in Riga, Latvia, and trained at the Royal Academy of Music in London, becoming one of the leading classical accordionists of her generation. She has built an international solo career performing with major orchestras and at leading concert halls, bringing the classical accordion repertoire to mainstream audiences.

In 2016, Sidorova secured an exclusive recording contract with Deutsche Grammophon, releasing her debut album ‘Carmen,’ an accordion reimagining of Bizet’s opera blending Latin, Asian, European, and North American musical styles. She has been dubbed the ‘Princess of the accordion’ in media coverage and is widely regarded as a leading ambassador for the classical accordion internationally.
