Julien Quentin is a French pianist born in Paris who began his studies at the Geneva Conservatory under Alexis Golovine, later earning an Artist Diploma from Indiana University (2002) studying with Emile Naoumoff and a Graduate Diploma from the Juilliard School (2003) with György Sándor. He also studied with master teachers including Paul Badura-Skoda, Nikita Magaloff, György Sebök, and Earl Wild.

Quentin performs as soloist with orchestras such as the Wroclaw, Qatar, and Córdoba philharmonics, and appears regularly at festivals including Verbier, Lucerne, and Montreux, and at venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Berlin Philharmonie, and the Concertgebouw. A noted chamber musician, he has collaborated with Emanuel Ax, Lisa Batiashvili, David Garrett, and Gautier Capuçon, recorded for EMI, Channel Classics, Sony RCA, and Decca, and received the Presser Award while at Indiana University; he is now based in Berlin, where he curates the “Musica Litoralis” concert series.
