Gina Alice Redlinger, who performs under the mononym Gina Alice, was born in Wiesbaden, Germany, around 1993. She began piano at age four, studied with Irina Edelstein and László Simon, worked with Klaus Hellwig and Gary Graffman (Lang Lang’s own teacher), and graduated from the Hamburg University of Music, giving her first solo recital at age 15.

She has performed with orchestras including the Berlin Philharmonic and Chinese ensembles such as the Shenyang and Guangzhou Symphony Orchestras, and is fluent in five languages. She is perhaps best known publicly as the wife of star pianist Lang Lang (married 2019), with whom she has also performed in piano-duo repertoire such as Saint-Saëns’s Carnival of the Animals; her own solo career is still developing relative to more established peers on this list.
