2NE1 was a South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment in 2009, originally consisting of CL, Park Bom, Sandara Park, and Minzy. Known for a hip-hop, R&B, and electropop sound and a bold “girl crush” image, they became one of the most influential K-pop acts of the early 2010s. Their breakout single “Fire” and albums such as Crush (2014) brought them major domestic and international success, including a spot on the US Billboard 200.
