B.A.P (Best Absolute Perfect) was a South Korean boy group formed by TS Entertainment, debuting in January 2012 with members Yongguk, Himchan, Daehyun, Youngjae, Jong-up, and Zelo. Known for a hip-hop and R&B-tinged sound and a “tough, bad-boy” image that set them apart from typical K-pop idol styling, they scored multiple US Billboard World Albums Chart #1s. The group quietly disbanded in 2019 after their contract expired, then reunited in 2024 with four members.

B.A.P notably filed a landmark 2014 lawsuit against their agency over unfair contract terms, drawing industry attention to K-pop labor practices, and they remain recognized for their strong string of chart-topping releases on Billboard’s World Albums chart.
