T-ara is a South Korean girl group formed in 2009, known for hook-driven dance-pop tracks shaped largely by producer Shinsadong Tiger. Their hits “Bo Peep Bo Peep,” “Roly-Poly,” and “Cry Cry” made them one of the best-selling K-pop girl groups of the early 2010s, with the current lineup consisting of Qri, Eunjung, Hyomin, and Jiyeon.

T-ara helped spread the Hallyu (Korean wave) across Asia, particularly in China, and are regarded as influential forerunners for later K-pop girl groups.
