Luigi Attademo is an Italian classical guitarist born in Naples in 1972, a pupil of Angelo Gilardino. He won the prestigious Concours International d’Exécution Musicale (CIEM) in Geneva in 1995, and while working in the archive of the Fundación Andrés Segovia in Linares, Spain, he discovered previously unknown manuscripts by composers including Jaume Pahissa, Alexandre Tansman and Gaspar Cassadó.

Attademo has premiered contemporary works by composers such as Alvaro Company and Sofia Gubaidulina, following studies under Julius Kalmar, Giovanni Guanti, Alessandro Solbiati and Emilia Fadini. He teaches at the Conservatorio Bruno Maderna in Cesena and the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, and frequently serves as a competition juror.
